Grand Canyon Parashant National Monument is in the far northwestern part of Arizona.  The National Park Service and the Bureau of Land Management work together to oversee the management of this protected area.  Established in 2000, it shares a border with Grand Canyon National Park and the Arizona Strip region managed by the Bureau of Land Management. 

This monument is well known for its stunning vistas and clear night skies due to its distant location and lack of development.  It allows tourists to witness the natural splendour of the Colorado Plateau and to take pleasure in the peace of the area in which they are located.  The Grand Canyon-Parashant National Monument is a hidden jewel that attracts people interested in nature and stargazers.
