Lake Charles State Park

Lake Charles State Park is a family-friendly campground with 60 sites for tents, trailers, and RVs, offering stunning views of the lake from its bluff location in the Ozark Mountains’ foothills. In addition, the campground features two recreational vehicles (RVs) and one Yurt available for rent.

There are sixty camping spots available at this park, as well as an RV rental facility. Picnic areas, hiking routes, a standard pavilion launch ramp, a swimming beach, and a playground are all located within a short walking distance of one another. The gift shop at the visitor centre carries a variety of souvenirs, as well as snacks and camping necessities. Lake cruises on party barges and kayaking excursions led by rangers are among the interpretive events offered at this park.

Trails at Lake Charles State Park

White oak lake trail:

Beautiful views of the park’s namesake lake can be seen from the White Oak Lake Trail in Lake Charles State Park. This walk meanders along White Oak Lake’s banks, providing stunning vistas and excellent chances to spot local species.
