Poison Springs State Park

Poison Springs State Park is a state park in Arkansas that may be found southeast of Bluff City. It is a memorial to the momentous historical event in 1864 during the American Civil War and is known as the Battle of Poison Spring. This battle took place at Poison Spring.

The conflict was fought as a component of the wider Camden Expedition, the overarching objective of which was to establish a strategic foothold in Texas and gain control of Shreveport, Louisiana.

 The battle at Poison Spring was marked by intense combat, ultimately resulting in a loss for the Union Army. Visitors to the park have the opportunity to learn about the history of the Civil War and the sacrifices made by soldiers on both sides of the conflict because the park is dedicated to preserving the legacy of this significant military engagement.
