This expansive park spans 2,550 acres alongside the Tennessee River, captivating visitors since 1949. Camping:

Due to recent tornado damage, Joe Wheeler State Park campgrounds are closed until further notice, except for Campground Section A. Fortunately, Section A has reopened, offering 43 full hookup campsites for public use until October 2020.

The campsites are available for $30 per night, excluding taxes and fees. Guests should note that no Wi-Fi is available, and only one bathhouse will be open during this time.
