Marinas At Kachemak Bay State Park

The Halibut Cove Lagoon Public Dock is a floating structure that is 80 feet long and can accommodate boats up to 26 feet long. Access to the Ranger Station, public facilities, two cottages available for public use, and a main trailhead may be gained from the dock. Because there is limited space, guests will be seated in the order in which they arrive.

Cabins At Kachemak Bay State Park

Lagoon-Overlook Cabin (16′ x 20′) Guests are limited to a maximum stay of 7 nights in a row at this property. The location is on a rocky point that looks out over the lagoon. You can enter the cabin by the public dock in Halibut Cove Lagoon. Expect to carry your belongings along a boardwalk approximately 500 feet long.

The two-bedroom rustic log cabin contains double wooden bunk beds, a table, a counter, and seats or benches. Restrooms are nearby. Water is readily available at the ranger station whenever the generator is operating; however, it must be purified before being consumed.
