The beautiful Lake Guntersville State Park may be found in Northeast Alabama on the banks of the Tennessee River. Spanning over six thousand acres of natural woodlands, the park has something for everyone. There are various recreational opportunities, from a beach complex and fishing center to hiking trails and an 18-hole championship golf course.

The park has a resort lodge on Taylor Mountain, lake-view cottages, and lovely chalets on the ridges. The resort also features a large, refurbished hotel, restaurant, and meeting center. Lake Guntersville State Park is an excellent option for those needing some R&R, some adrenaline-pumping outdoor activities, or a place to have their next business gathering.

Lodge:

Hotel rooms and suites are available at the Lodge at Lake Guntersville in the state park. Lake Guntersville State Park is beautiful and has updated facilities for visitors to enjoy. The Guntersville Reservoir is 69,000 acres in size, and our bluff-side accommodations provide breathtaking views.

A strict no-smoking policy is in effect across the entire hotel and lodge. All rooms have a mini-fridge, microwave, hair dryer, coffee machine, DVD player, cable television, and ironing equipment. Enjoy a relaxing stay and the beautiful scenery at Lake Guntersville State Park.

Fishing:

You may find the Town Creek Fishing Center off of Alabama State Route 227 at the mouth of Town Creek on Guntersville Lake. You can take advantage of various fishing amenities, including boat ramps, flat-bottom boat and canoe rentals, an on-water petrol pump, a fishing pier, equipment and bait supplies, fishing licenses, and refreshments.

Please be aware that the Fishing Center is closed every year between mid-November and mid-March.
