Lakepoint Resort State Park in Alabama
Lakepoint Resort State Park is a beautiful public park on the shores of Lake Eufaula that provides visitors with a wide range of opportunities for outdoor recreation. Campers can choose from a variety of amenities at this campground. Pull-through sites are available with full hookups in Deer Court. Sites in the Barbour and Clark Loop areas have access to utilities. There are restroom facilities and shower buildings at each camping site. Campers have the option of reserving the Community Building for use as a gathering space and making use of the storage facilities for campers. This park features a children’s playground in addition to tennis courts for competitive play. We are happy to accommodate well-mannered pets that are on leashes.

Because the park contains a large variety of natural features, including flora, fauna, and scenery, there are several opportunities to take photographs that are breathtaking.
It is advisable to travel around the park on foot, and having a naturalist’s guide with you can assist in recognizing the various species of wildlife that are observed along the journey.

Lakepoint State Park is a great place to go hiking, with a variety of routes that are also great for kids. There is a wide range of path options for hikers of all ages and abilities. Forested regions and lakeshore trails along Lake Eufaula are available to hikers.
Some of the routes are steep, so it’s smart to bring plenty of water and food to help you keep hydrated and energized.
