Mammoth Spring State Park
Mammoth Spring State Park is a park in Arkansas that features the second-largest spring in the Ozark Mountains and offers visitors various recreational activities and amenities. It has a flow rate of nine million gallons per hour, and before it empties into the Spring River, it creates a lovely lake that is ten acres in size. Floating and fishing for trout are two common activities on the river. The Frisco depot, built in 1886 and now part of the park, provides visitors a look back to the early 1900s.
You may adventure inside a Frisco caboose, and the park’s information centre doubles as an Arkansas Welcome Center. The institution is a repository for the region’s natural and cultural artefacts. A baseball field, playground equipment, hiking trail, and picnic areas exist.
