Olompali State Historic Park
Olompali State Historic Park is a California State Park that covers 700 acres (2.8 km2) in Marin County. When renting an RV in Boyes Hot Springs, you should explore Olompali State Historic Park. Although the park is best renowned for its historical significance, it is also a stunningly beautiful location.
Formerly known as Rancho Olompali, this park was formerly a settlement given to the indigenous inhabitants of California by the Mexican government. Rancho Olompali was home to the Miwok people for hundreds of years before Europeans arrived, and the village is notable since it is one of the few cases in which the indigenous people have maintained their sovereignty.
The magnificent Samuel P. Taylor State Park is another wonderful destination in California; the state government maintains that, and it is brimming with majesty and beauty. The park was named after a guy who made his fortune by discovering gold, purchasing large tracts of land, and constructing sawmills and resorts in the territory he controlled. The park encompasses nearly 3,000 acres of undulating grasslands and redwood trees, of which approximately 250 acres comprise old-growth virgin forests.
