Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument
Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument is a UNESCO biosphere reserve and a United States national monument in southern Arizona on the international border with the state of Sonora in Mexico. More than 2,000 plant species, 300 bird species, and 100 reptile and amphibian species make their home in the monument, home to an environment rich in diversity.
Because of the number of organ pipe cacti that can be seen there, it is considered a unique travel destination in the United States. Drives through beautiful scenery, treks in the wilderness, and overnight camping trips are all great ways to get a feel for the vibrant desert community.

Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument has a vast route network to explore. The Arch Canyon Trail and the Estes Canyon/Bull Pasture Trail (3.1 miles) are popular routes. These beautiful paths will take you deeper into the park and show interesting desert scenery. In addition, two great, shorter hikes near the Dripping Springs Mine were formerly copper mine access roads. Put on your hiking boots and explore the amazing landscape of the desert.
