Patagonia Lake State Park
Patagonia Lake State Park is well known for several things, including the must-see locations in the surrounding area, paths along the shoreline, open hours, admission prices, picnic areas, camping sites, and local lodgings. The campground looks out over an artificial lake that spans 265 acres and is stocked with crappie, bass, bluegill, and catfish for anglers to catch. From October through March, trout are stocked at a frequency of once every three weeks.
The New Mexico and Arizona Railroad tracks are buried beneath the lake, and relics of the historic railroad can be discovered at the Nature Conservancy near Patagonia. Hikers who stroll along the picturesque creek trail will have the opportunity to witness a wide range of birds, including the canyon towhee, Inca dove, vermilion flycatcher, black vulture, and several different species of hummingbirds.

Excellent bird-watching may be had all along the hiking routes as they pass through various habitat types. To further enjoy the avian wonders that inhabit the park, binoculars and a bird identification guide are advised.
