Pinnacle Mountain State Park
Pinnacle Mountain State Park was made in 1977 near Little Rock, Arkansas. It’s a park you can visit during the day, and it’s close to a big city, which makes it the first park like that in the state. The park mainly focuses on environmental education, recreation, and preservation. It covers 2,000 acres and offers a wide variety of natural habitats.
Knowledgeable park interpreters and volunteers are available to help visitors and students understand the importance of our relationship with the environment. Pinnacle Mountain is known for its striking peak over a thousand feet above the Arkansas River Valley, making it a well-known landmark in central Arkansas. Hikers can enjoy two trails that lead to the summit, providing stunning views.
Trails at Pinnacle Mountain State Park
Pinnacle Mountain State Park offers various trails for outdoor enthusiasts. The Base Trail, East Summit Trail, and West Summit Trail provide different levels of challenge and stunning views.
The Kingfisher Trail and Rocky Valley Trail offer unique experiences, while the Ouachita National Hiking Trail connects you to even more adventure.
Base Trail
