The campground at Withrow Springs State Park has been upgraded with 30 new sites. The new campground is in a wooded area and features Premium A sites with full utilities and sewer connections. Each campsite is suitable for both recreational vehicles and tents. In addition, there is a brand modern bathroom facility at the campground is fully accessible to people with disabilities. Trails At Withrow Springs State Park
War Eagle Trail
Length: 2 miles round trip: Time: 1 hour: Difficulty: Moderate – Strenuous
The scenic river alongside the War Eagle Trail at Withrow Springs State Park gave rise to the trail’s name. A spectacular picturesque overlook, built on a bluff that is 150 feet in height, may be reached after continuing through the enchanted Ozark hardwood woodland.
This lookout point is a popular destination along the trail because of its breathtaking panorama of the river and the surrounding mountain landscape. Hikers and wildlife lovers flock to the War Eagle Trail to take in the breathtaking scenery.
